Juma mubarak (juma mubarak) – this phrase is a congratulation of Muslims with each other, translated from Arabic “blessed Friday”. The word “mubarak” means in translation from the Arabic language “happy” or “prosperous”, but in this greeting it is translated as “blessed”. The word mubarak is often used in Islamic greetings in this sense. The name “juma” is of Arabic origin, based on the concept of “collect”. As Imam al-Nawawi said, Friday was called the word “juma”, because this word in Arabic refers to a gathering of people. During the time of pre-Islamic ignorance or “jahiliyah”, the Arabs called Friday “Aruba”.
