2.DFSK Glory 500

DFSK Glory 500 upcoming car in pakistan is a subcompact crossover SUV. The car will be offered with a 1.5-liter, 4-cylinder petrol engine that will produce 118hp and 147 Nm of torque. Power is planned to be transmitted to the front wheels via a CVT automatic gearbox. Pakistani citizens are becoming fans of sub-compact crossover SUVs these days and are playing their part by introducing the DFSK Glory 500. A few months ago, we observed test units on the roads of Pakistan.

The car promises good fuel economy with a decent power output which will make it a good choice in its segment. The car is expected to be priced around 20-22 lacs. The car will compete with the likes of Toyota Rush, Honda BR-V and Suzuki Vitara in the Pakistani market. 

The Glory 500 will be a good addition to the DFSK lineup in Pakistan and will help the company gain a foothold in the ever-growing SUV market in the country. 

3.Proton X50

The Proton X50 is a subcompact crossover SUV that is expected to be launched in Pakistan soon.The car premiered in Malaysia earlier this year, where it was equipped with two different power trains. The car produces 177 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque, and uses an automatic transmission to transfer energy to the front wheels.

However, although it is an entry-level crossover, it is equipped with modern features such as a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ambient lighting, keyless entry, push start button, and more. The car will be available in three different variants – Standard, Executive and Premium. Prices for the car are expected to start from around PKR 4 million.

4.BAIC X25

The BAIC X25 is an upcoming subcompact SUV that is set to compete with the DFSK Glory 500. The vehicle was revealed at the 2020 PAPS auto show and has been highly anticipated since. The X25 comes with a 1.5 litre, 4 cylinder engine that is mated to either a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission. The engine produces 116hp and 148 nm of torque. 

In terms of safety, the X25 comes with features such as dual airbags, automatic climate control, stability control, parking assist, and infotainment. With its competitive price tag, the BAIC X25 is sure to be a popular choice among Pakistani consumers. That would cost about ً 3.5 million.

5.12th Generation Toyota Corolla


The 12th generation Toyota Corolla is the next car to arrive in Pakistan. It is a hybrid car that has made its global debut in 2018. The car is yet to arrive in Pakistan, but it is expected to be launched soon. The Corolla has always been the most popular car in Pakistan because it can work on damaged roads of villages too. 6.GAC GS3

The Peugeot 3008 is equipped with a turbocharged 1.6-liter 4-cylinder petrol engine that generates 162 horsepower (hp) and 240 Newton-metres (Nm) of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission with an automatic gearbox. The launch date and price of the car have not been confirmed by the company yet. 8.MG RX8

The MG RX8 is an upcoming SUV that will compete with the likes of the Kia Sorento, Toyota Fortuner, Hyundai Santa Fe, and Mazda CX-9. It will be a fully loaded Four Wheel Drive (4WD) SUV with a ladder frame chassis and a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine producing 224 horsepower and 360 Nm of torque with a 6-speed transmission. The MG RX8 will include all of the enhanced safety and conveniences found in other MG vehicles, including 6 airbags, Hill Start Assist, Hill Descent Control, ESC, Traction Control, Cruise control, lane departure warning, collision warning, and other hi-tech features. The price of the MG RX8 is Rs 8.5 million this year.

9.Peugeot 5008

Peugeot is set to launch its new 5008 crossover SUV in Pakistan. The 7-seater vehicle will have a powertrain identical to the Peugeot 3008, with a 1.6-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol engine producing 162 horsepower and 240 Nm of torque. It will be available with either front-wheel or all-wheel drive, depending on the model. The 5008 will compete in a crowded market segment, and its lack of room may be a disadvantage. However, its price is expected to be competitive, with a range of Rs. 7.3 million to Rs. 8.5 million.

10.Suzuki Swift 4th generation

Suzuki is all set to launch the 4th generation Swift in Pakistan. The new Swift will be available by the middle of next year. The fourth generation Suzuki Swift was introduced in March 2017 and received a fee lift in 2020. According to reports, we will get the pre-fee lift model. Two new generation Swifts have been observed at Karachi Airport recently. Suzuki would have imported these units for testing purposes. However, we can be wrong. In either case, the new Swift will be available by mid-next year. Excited much? You should be! The all-new Suzuki Swift is one heck of a car and we can’t wait to get our hands on it.
