The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has announced the test schedule for the post of Lecturer 2023. The exams will be held from October 24 to December 08, 2023. What is the PPSC Lecturer Test?
The PPSC Lecturer Test is an exam that is conducted by the Punjab Public Service Commission in order to recruit individuals for the post of Lecturer. The exam consists of two papers, Paper I and Paper II. Paper I is a written test that tests the candidate’s knowledge of English and General Studies. Paper II is an oral test that assesses the candidate’s teaching ability. The PPSC Lecturer Test is held once every year and is open to all eligible candidates who possess a Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field. Candidates who are successful in the PPSC Lecturer Test are appointed as Lecturers in the Department of Education, Government of Punjab.
PPSC Lecturer Test Schedule 2023
The Punjab Public Service Commission has announced the test schedule for the post of lecturer for the year 2023. The test will be held in two stages: written and interview. The written test will be held on October 24, 2023, and the interview will be held on December 08, 2023. Candidates who pass the written test will be eligible to appear for the interview.
The PPSC will select lecturers for the following subjects: English, Urdu, Islamiat, Pakistan Studies, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology,Biochemistry, and Statistics. The PPSC will also select lecturers for the following specializations:Drama/Theatre, Radio & Television, Journalism, Library Science, and Mass Communication. Candidates who are interested in applying for the post of lecturer must submit their applications soon. Only candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will be considered for the post.

The PPSC Lecturer Test Schedule for the year 2023 has been announced. The test will be held on, 2023. Candidates who wish to apply for the post of lecturer in any government college or university in Punjab can appear in this test.
The syllabus for the PPSC Lecturer Test is available on the official website of the Commission. Candidates are advised to start their preparation for the test according to the syllabus.
The PPSC Lecturer Test is a competitive examination and the candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the test. The Commission has fixed 70% marks as the qualifying marks for the general category candidates and 60% marks for the reserved category candidates.
The PPSC Lecturer Test will be of two hours duration and will consist of 100 objective type questions. The questions will be based on the subjects of English, Urdu, Islamiat, Pakistan Studies, Education, and General Knowledge.
Candidates who pass the PPSC Lecturer Test will be appointed as lecturers in the government colleges and universities of Punjab. They will be paid a salary of Rs. 15,600/- per month.
