Huawei P40 will receive a single chip system Huawei Kirin 990 and the flagship camera
In a few months, the flagship camera phone Huawei P40 will appear on the market, which, most likely, will top the DxOMark rating, as its predecessors did.
Presentation of new items may take place in a month at the Consumer Electronics Show 2020 or in February at Mobile World Congress 2020. In the meantime, we have the first render, which, presumably, shows the Huawei P40.
This image shows the smartphone in profile and does not allow to understand which camera of the device will be exactly, however, some observations can still be made.
Firstly, the screen will be curved on the sides, although there is no smell of a waterfall screen. Secondly, the back panel will have a similar bend. Thirdly, the smartphone will receive the usual physical power and volume buttons on the right panel. As for the main camera, it is not clear from this angle whether the modules will be located in one line or whether a square / rectangular block will be provided for it. As for technical specifications, it is expected that the Huawei P40 will receive a single-chip Huawei Kirin 990 system. The smartphone is credited with a 6.57-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2K with support for extended dynamic range.
The popular blogger @ RODENT950, in a Twitter account, revealed some details about the Huawei P40 and P40 Pro, the heirs of the P30 series .
Earlier, Huawei officially announced that the first smartphone equipped with the Hongmeng operating system will be introduced in the first half of 2020. According to preliminary data, the Huawei P40 series will be presented in March 2020. Now, Huawei is trying to extend the Hongmeng system to products such as Honor smartphones and the first Smart Display TVs. From a technical point of view, the Huawei P40 will be equipped with a Kirin 990 processor and will receive a version focused on supporting 5G networks. The main camera in the new products will grow. They talk about five sensors on the rear panel, the main of which is 64 megapixels, and another is a ToF-sensor.
